We all know the story of Paul Revere, the Revolutionary War hero, but few know of his entrepreneurial drive. At age 65, Revere established a copper rolling mill in Canton, MA with his son-in-law Joseph Warren to supply the U.S. Navy with sheet copper to clad their ship hulls. A former horse barn will house three floors of interactive exhibits.

The design team led by preservation architects Mills Whitaker developed an exhibit master plan that explores the history of the site, Revere’s entrepreneurial spirit, innovation in New England today, and how innovation will shape our future. Interior exhibits culminate in a flexible innovation lab on the 3rd floor. Terrace and pathway exhibits feature hands-on interactives that explore renewable energy concepts.
