What do you think of when you think of Maine food? Lobsters, of course! How about the Italian Sub, Chop Suey, and Whoopie Pies? This exhibit explores our regional association with foods, food insecurity, and the farm-to-table movement in Maine.

Is that lobster or maple? Visitors can test their olfactory prowess at the "Guess That Smell" interactive.
Or take a "selfie" in a giant Italian sub sandwich. Media stations throughout the exhibit provide additional interpretation on subjects ranging from lobstering, to blueberry and potato farming, to canning.
Plates on tables feature fun facts about Maine foods—flip them over to learn their cultural resonance.
